A Bird Sitting on a Branch is Never Afraid of it Breaking, Because her Trust Isn’t in The Branch but in her own Wings

Confidence is a feeling or belief of having faith in your ability to fly.

Courage is taking flight even when you don’t feel that faith, or you haven’t left the branch before.

Trusting yourself to leave the branch.

We talk a lot to women about their finding more confidence, but is it time we put more attention on courage? on taking action in the absence of certainty?

Women today are forging new ground, with a legacy of centuries of women’s exclusion from professional life, a legacy that persists both within us and around us.

Confidence likely won’t always be with you as you forge new paths.

You don’t need confidence to do what you want to do in your work lives.

You need to learn to take action in the midst of self-doubt, and you can begin practicing that today by trusting your wings and making that courageous maiden flight.
